How do I add a widget?
Long-press your home screen, tap the "+" button in the top corner, search for "Hikari", and choose your preferred size (small, medium, or large). For lock screen widgets, press and hold your lock screen, tap "Customize", and add Hikari from the widget gallery.
How do I change the language?
Open Hikari, go to Settings (gear icon), and tap Language. You can choose between English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
Does the app need internet?
No. All quotes ship with the app. Everything works offline — including widgets.
How does personalization work?
When you like or dislike a quote, Hikari learns your preferences over time. All processing happens locally on your device. No data is sent anywhere.
My widget shows a blank screen
Try removing the widget and adding it again. If the issue persists, open the Hikari app once — this refreshes the widget data.
How do I save a quote?
Tap the heart icon on any quote to add it to your Favorites. You can view all saved quotes in the Favorites tab.
