One month ago I left my job. Here's where things stand.

Month One

📅 February 5th, 2026. That's the date. The day everything changed… I won't get into the details of the exit... it wasn't clean, not on my end, on the company's side.

The kind of stuff that could mess with your head if you let it. I didn't let it. Head down. Ship code. Keep moving.

What happened in 28 days

Hikari (光)

Went from first commit to live on the App Store in 21 days 😀 $4.99, onetime payment, zero tracking, zero subscriptions. Apple approved it on the first attempt😬My first product out there in the wild.

Chokin (貯金)

is at 90% MVP. A finance or kind app for kids, parents assign chores, kids earn rewards. Flo and Fran are the tester 😀 Target: AppStore by mid-March.

Mushin (無心)

is on stand by. It needs more thinking before it deserves more building.

Freelance

On top of that... freelance projects started showing up. Meetings with friends, conversations turning into real opportunities. Two new projects in early stages. The parking lot is full of ideas… some good, some not so much. But the pipeline is moving .

The grind

Gym is back 😎 …. Routine is back… Wake up, work, train, work, sleep, repeat.

No audience. No virality. No shortcuts… Just shipping code every single day, I don't miss the job. Not even a little bit.

What's next

More of the same. Chokin hits the App Store this month.

Hikari starts its real test can it find users organically? The freelance keeps the lights on while the products grow.

28 days in. First fruits showing up. 2026 is going to be a big year.

Let's go 💪

If this resonated, let me know
